Here's a list of pages (and resources) that I have found useful in learning about security.

• Linux Security Homepage
  This is where I got the reference to where to get Tripwire. I'm still working on reading all the stuff in here.

• The RedHat FAQ - Security Section
  It's the FAQ. This is where I finally found out how to turn on password shadowing in Linux. Read this stuff.

• An Architectural Overview of UNIX Network Security
  Very dry, somewhat boring, very useful. This was written several years ago, but it still covers a lot of the important bits and pieces.

• Improving the Security of Your Site by Breaking Into it
  Less dry, more useful, somewhat amusing. Also provides a list of resources for Linux users. (And explains the program Crack, which is referenced elsewhere in my documents.)

• Bugtraq mailing list archives
  Bugtraq is a full-disclosure UNIX security mailing list.
